My name is Sarah Aga, and I'm the owner of this company.

Bull Stitch is a one man operation; I made this website as well as all the made to order items here. I never make an item ahead of time. So understand that once you click that order button, I cut up every pattern and sew it all together just for you. None of that "make a bunch of each size then just ship away." That's why each order takes no less than 4 days to ship out, I have a routine you see on how each item is made. But that's boring so I won't go into details.

I began sewing when my grandmother taught me at 9 years old. Then she only taught me how to hand sew, I didn't even consider a machine at the time. I made little pillows and attempted a skirt, no luck though.
I retired the art after a year or so but ended up getting back into it around 17 when my neighbor let me borrow her sewing machine. It wasn't until I was 19 that I bought my own. I used a Singer for 5 years before I bought my serger.
That same year my grandmother gifted me a Husqvarna Viking Sapphire Quilter which is what I use today for each item. I've got a total of four machines in my arsenal. I plan on keeping my original Singer until my daughter becomes of age and I can let her start sewing.

I mostly just sewed for fun, but in the winter of 2015 I began to do embroidery. When you work graveyard at a rehabilitation hospital with a total of 30 beds, you have some down time. I had a couple coworkers come to me about embroidered items. I figured, if you're good at something, never do it for free. So I thought about starting a small business and selling embroidered items.

That idea alone didn't start off very well. Turns out, embroidered items are kind of an old lady thing. I wasn't getting any customers so I thought about expanding it. One night, while spooning my husband I thought about sewing again. I still had my machine, albeit boxed up but I still had it.

Immediately, I thought of what I could create: lingerie. I've always wanted to make it in the past, so why not now? I took a couple of months and practiced patterns, created my own, planned a photo shoot, coded a website, and recruited models. It was all coming together in September. I had three models, four if you include myself and had a photo shoot. I didn't want to launch until I had the photos in hand, but alas, October 1st was my target date and I still didn't have the photos. So I launched anyways.

That's how I came around to creating a sewing business. I work as a CNA during the weekend and on my days off I sew lingerie. What an alter ego to have.

Some fun facts about me that don't include sewing, ya know, in case you guys are interested:

-Born in Kirkland, Washington.
-I just turned 24 on January 23rd.
-I have two siblings; a brother and a sister whom are both older than me. My brother lives in Seattle, WA and helps take care of my widowed grandmother; while my sister lives with her two kids in Mead, WA.

-In high school, I did track, cross country, but my senior year I was on the varsity golf team.
-I was invited to a going away party back in December 2012 which just so happens to be where I met my husband. He was super drunk and I thought he was a super douche bag. Wearing a tank top that read "Your Mom Loves This Shit" and skinny jeans while bragging about how drunk he was. He ended up getting my number anyway after talking all the way into the morning and he was sober.
-Chad, my husband, didn't ask me out for 7 whole months because he admitted multiple times he didn't want to date me. He said this to my face mind you. He eventually gave in and asked me out. After two years of dating, I proposed and we got married two months later on August 1st, 2015.
-Our daughter, Marceline Rosemary, was born March 12th, 2015. She was only 6 months old when we got married and was still being breast fed at the time so I had to keep jumping in and out of the wedding to feed her.
-My procession song that I walked down to aisle to was "In My Life" by The Beatles.
-I have 11 tattoos as of February 14th. Majority are random but I do have my wedding bouquet on my shoulder and a rosemary stem on my forearm for my daughter. My other random ones include: a starfish with a kawaii face, a cactus with a cat face, a skinned hand showing the muscles and tendons, and a severed hand holding a pair of scissors amongst others.
-My favorite shows include: Adventure Time (if you could guess by my daughters name), Steven Universe, Bee and Puppycat, Fresh off the Boat, Game of Thrones, and GIRLS.
-My favorite movies include: Lion King, Anna Karenina, Silver Linings Playbook, The Conjuring, and Howl's Moving Castle.
-Lastly, I consider myself a feminist. But not only that I'm also very liberal and a militant atheist. I'm proud of it and I won't hide it from anybody.

Thanks for reading this super long essay that's just about myself. It was probably incredibly boring.
